- This manometer is the modified form of the piezometric tube.
- It can be used for measuring large gauge pressures between a certain point and the atmosphere.
- For measuring applications lower part of the U-tube is filled with liquid immiscible with the fluid.
- This manometer permits the pressure of liquids as well as gases to be measured with the similar instrument.
